When we don't have a choice, we want more choice.
When we have more choice, we can't make a decision.
Paradox!
The more choices we have, the more paralysed we are in the face of actually deciding on one of these choices, and I would change the anxiety and frustration that come with indecisiveness for anything in the word!
Apart from the fact that a state of over-saturation compromises quality, in the sense that it makes it harder and harder to actually identify a really good choice among all the noise surrounding it, having so many choices has made us very picky and very unsatisfied not only with the choice offering but also with ourselves for making one choice rather than the other or worse yet, not being able to make a choice at all!
Too much is closer to little.
Too many is closer to none.
More is less!
